The Resolution Process is the membership's method of providing input for NAVPA's legislative agenda or changing how NAVPA conducts business.
Resolutions should address issues within NAVPA's ability to act. For example, NAVPA cannot change laws directly, but can engage in actions such as contacting members of Congress to advocate for policy changes.
Once a Resolution is submitted, it will be reviewed by the Resolutions Committee members and if approved, will be presented to the membership during the annual Business Meeting for a vote to accept or deny the Resolution.
Virtual meetings may be scheduled at the discretion of the Executive Board for resolution consideration outside the annual meeting.
Accepted resolutions go to the Board of Directors and relevant committees for further action.
Please provide your information below, along with the information of the three co-signers supporting this resolution. All signers must have NAVPA membership in good standing at the time of submission.
